Session 4: Jesus is Risen. Hallelujah!

Easter Saturday 3 April 2021 at 7pm - 8.30pm

Hallelujah! He is Risen.

We invite you to join with us in celebrating the Risen Lord together with Paschal fire, candles, scripture, music, dance, sharing and breaking bread together.

In preparation we ask everyone to reflect on one of the questions “If Jesus is not in the tomb where is He?” , “Where do you find Easter Joy/Love? or “What does it feel like to say Hallelujah He is Risen? If possible can everyone young and not as young please draw something take a photo or make a piece of art to represent your answer to this question?

On the evening weather and other factors permitting please light a small fire outside if safe to do so and dress warmly so that you can stay outside around the fire for as long as is possible. You might have a barbeque kettle or small circle of stones. Please also bring a candle for each person and you are invited to bring bread and wine/juice so that we can break bread together. Please also prepare a space to gather inside maybe around the kitchen table. You may want to prepare some celebration food to enjoy together as the event closes.
